Our little man is growing before our eyes.
Yes, someone wanted to help with our photo shoot...can't believe she used to be that small. |
This is the baby scale that was my Dads. So cool. |
Eating:
About every 2-3 hours during the day; and 4-5hrs at night. He has been nursing really well since day 1; so much easier than Addison.
He took his first bottle, no problem, on 11/23- which means we got to go out for an evening alone! Yippee!
Sleeping:
Typically is awake for at least an hour between feedings during the day, and is up for 3-4 hours at night before last feeding. He's really been sleeping well for us (knock on some hard wood) since he came home from the hospital. Up 1-2x per night...which I can't complain. We've learned early that we need to put him down to sleep so he can self soothe and fall asleep...and I think this has helped wonders.
Love this little outfit-with guitars on it for his daddy. |
Milestones:
We're starting to see some first smiles and he's tracking more and more with his eyes. His favorite object to track: Mommy of course "the milk lady" - as Adam calls me.
We went out to dinner for the first time as a family with my brother, "Uncle B", to CPK and Parker slept the whole time...from when we left the house, to when we got home. So much easier than our 2.5yr old out to eat.
As far as other outings, he's pretty easy to tote along at this age...he sleeps so much. He's a good shopper, and sleeps on car rides anywhere. He also just chills or sleeps when we take walks in the stroller...thank goodness for a double stroller. Love the City Mini Double - so light and easy to maneuver and fold.
Physically:
He has really good head control-and does really well with belly time lifting his head up. Likes to play in the activity gym with his sister.
He just likes to hang out...and watch the world around him |
Addy loves to play with him on the floor, and brings this out all day for him. "Come on Mommy, he wants to play" |
Loves bath time, like his sister. |
Adam FINALLY gave me a tutorial on photo shop...here are the little one's comparisons.
Can you also tell how much better our camera is now?
