Milestones:
It's been a month of development for our little man. He started crawling in May, and perfected the art of his army crawl speed and progressively able to crawl on all 4's...but still prefers the army crawl. June 3rd you were able to figure out how to sit up from crawling...and now you can swivel yourself all around from belly to sitting and back and forth to see the world around. The end of the month you started pulling up to your knees...and then up to standing. Now, you are getting daring with holding on with one hand...and cruising walking back and forth along the couch or Addison's little table. We really can't keep our eyes off of you for long, because you are bound to get into something...and you are a daredevil pulling up...and therefore taking your fair share of spills.
You have bruises on your head...and Addison on her legs...my tough little babies. Parker, you are very proud of yourself with your new found skills...and often times look around to see if we notice what you've done...and then you give a big gummy grin and start laughing. You also enjoy when we clap for you and say, "Yay Parker!" Addison is enjoying your new skills as well, but tries to help you which is hard for a 3yr old to do.
Talking: No words yet...and I know we need to be patient...since Addison was so early in this area. You are just enjoying the baby babbling, cooing, and saying "ahhh, ooohhh," We've been starting some sign language too for "more", "all done", "eat" and Addison is helping with this too.
Eating: Nursing 5 x a day; with 3 bottles on the days that I work. Starting to transition to 4 nursing sessions a day as you're eating more solids now 3 x a day. You still love everything we feed you, and you are really growing like a true boy. You've hit the 20lb mark this month! New foods we tried: zuchinni, green beans, broccoli, carrots, kiwi, blueberries, plums (not a big fan), starting to combo some of your foods now too...and you're taking about 2 ice cubes worth of food per feeding...about 6 Tbsp. Finger foods: puffs and mum-mums - and you LOVE to feed yourself. Plan to start more finger foods next month and combinations - and yogurt and cottage cheese.

Success!! Feeding himself!!
Sleeping: You're doing better. We tried the "Ferber Method" modified during then night to get you to sleep more on your own, and stop waking up. It's working for the most part. You are doing much better at night, but still have your days. I would say we are 4-5 of 7 days through the night...then you like to wake up early - sometimes at 430am. But, we are working it out. You and Daddy have had lots of cuddle time in the early mornings to hold you off from nursing until 530 or 6am to maintain your schedule.

Playing: Everything is in the mouth to explore. You like to play with your sissy's toys more than your own...and vice versa. You like peek-a-boo books and lifting the flaps, musical toys, trains and cars - things that roll and move (such a boy). We pulled out the music table for you to stand at now, and you are enjoying playing with that. You have almost phased out of the exercauser...but like to stand on the outside of it now to play, or crawl under the bottom of it.
