First Sledding Adventure

Winter sure did come later this year...no snow here in Chicago until mid-January was a true record.  Our first big snow came the weekend of Jan 13-14 despite the almost 60 deg weather on Jan. 11 -when Addison and I were able to go to the park (and go down the slide a million times) and then again this past weekend Jan. 20th.
We bought her a little penguin sled (since they are one of her favorite animals right now), and tied a rope to the front of it so that we could pull her around on it.

I honestly don't know who had more fun...Addy, Adam or I? Then, we rounded out the first day of sledding with her first cup of hot cocoa in her sippy cup when we got home. What more could you ask for?
